Oatmeal with Cottage Cheese

The benefits of oatmeal have been proven for a long time. It perfectly improves digestion and skin condition, and coarse oatmeal varieties can reduce the level of bad cholesterol in the blood. In addition, oatmeal contains all the properties necessary for a healthy breakfast, and these are, first of all, proteins and carbohydrates. In addition, it has an affordable price for absolutely everyone.
Good for everyone … However, there is one “But”! If you eat oatmeal every morning, you won’t be able to look at it after a week. And no persuasion about its benefits will work. To avoid this, and fall in love with hercules, you just need to dilute the porridge with all kinds of additives. And then a varied breakfast will be provided, which will become a favorite meal.
During cooking, or in the finished porridge, you can add all kinds of fruits and berries, jam and jam, dried fruits (dried apricots, raisins) and chocolate, nuts and seeds. In general, this list can be continued indefinitely. In addition, now in stores you can buy porridge, to which various cereals, fruits and all kinds of additives have already been added. Naturally, such mixtures are more convenient and there is no need to puzzle over a new recipe. However, natural milk and fresh fruits are healthier than dried and canned supplements. So, for example, today I combined oatmeal with cottage cheese, honey and baked apples. It turned out to be quite a satisfying, tasty and unusual breakfast. I recommend everyone to try it!

Ingredients:

– oatmeal – 100 grams,
– cottage cheese – 100 grams,
– honey – 1 tbsp.,
– apple – 1 pc.

Cooking
Put oatmeal in a saucepan, cover with water (milk) and put on the stove. When the water boils, remove the pot from the heat. Close it with a lid and leave to infuse. If you use coarse oatmeal, then it will have to boil for about 10-15 minutes.
Meanwhile, peel the apple from the skin and core, and divide it into 4 parts.
Place the apple in the microwave for 1 minute to lightly brown. Do not keep an apple in the microwave for a long time, otherwise it will turn into mashed potatoes, but we need the slices to remain intact.
Put cottage cheese (fatty or fat-free, it’s up to you) put in a grinder and add honey to it.
Beat cottage cheese until smooth, so that all the lumps are broken.
Combine whipped cottage cheese and brewed oatmeal in one container.
Mix well.
Put the porridge on a plate, and on top add baked apples. Bon Appetit everyone!
