Caramel Donuts

For the recipe you will need:
toffee milk – 200g
water – 100 pcs.
water – 50 ml
egg – 3 pcs.
sour milk – 500 ml
dry yeast – 10g
salt – 1/2 tsp
sugar – 1.5 tbsp.
flour – 1kg
vegetable oil (for frying).
To make Caramel Donuts:

Boil 100 ml of water in a small saucepan and add toffee. While stirring, melt the toffee until completely dissolved and leave the mixture to cool to room temperature.

In 50 ml warm water and 1 tsp. sugar dissolve the yeast, cover with a napkin and leave until the mixture bubbles.

Beat eggs with milk, add caramel and stir. Pour into the sifted flour, stirring, the egg-caramel mixture, water with yeast, add salt, sugar and knead a soft elastic dough. Leave the dough to proof in a warm place for about 1 hour. After an hour, knead the risen dough and let it rise again.

Roll out the dough into a layer of about 0.5 cm. Cut out circles with a mold and fry them on both sides until golden brown in hot oil.

Place finished caramel donuts on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot.
