Natillas Spanish Dessert

Natillas is a Spanish dessert based on milk and eggs with various flavors such as vanilla, cinnamon, oranges. It has a refreshing taste and is suitable for both festive treats and everyday table.
INGREDIENTS
milk 1.25 l
sugar 150 g
corn flour 40 g
eggs (yolk) 4 pcs.
cinnamon (stick) 1 pc.
lemon (zest) 1 pc.
vanilla sugar 2 tsp
ground cinnamon 1 tsp
COOKING:
Put milk (1 liter) on fire and put vanilla sugar, cinnamon stick and lemon zest into it. To a glass of cold milk (250 ml) add beaten yolks and cornmeal.
2 Pour the milk-egg mixture into boiling milk, after removing the lemon zest and cinnamon stick from it. Cook the mixture, stirring constantly and remove from heat as soon as it thickens.
3Pour immediately into earthenware glasses or small bowls. Cool the dessert and sprinkle with ground cinnamon on top. Refrigerate the Spanish dessert “Natillas” before serving.
