Lazy cottage cheese dumplings with oatmeal

Proper nutrition is my new hobby. But proper nutrition and healthy food recipes are not just boiled chicken fillet, vegetables and cottage cheese. Proper nutrition is a lot of everything tasty, fast and, most importantly, healthy.

Today, another recipe for breakfast or lunch is lazy cottage cheese dumplings with oatmeal. One has only to replace high-calorie cottage cheese with low-calorie, sugar with a small amount of honey, wheat flour for oatmeal, and we get a tasty and healthy dish.

Cottage cheese dumplings with oatmeal are more tender, so it is important not to “miss” and get them out of boiling water in time. And it’s in the bag, or rather, dumplings on the table!
To cook lazy cottage cheese dumplings with oatmeal, you will need:

Low fat cottage cheese 300 g
Egg 1 pc.
Salt pinch
Honey to taste (2 tablespoons)
Oatmeal about 4 tablespoons + for rolling dumplings
Cooking a dish according to the recipe “Lazy cottage cheese dumplings with oatmeal – pp recipe”
Mash the cottage cheese with a fork, add salt and honey and an egg, mix.
Pour out the oatmeal, the dough is not very dense.
Cut the dough into 2-3 parts, so it will be easier to work with it. Roll each piece into a thin sausage and cut into pieces.
Shape the pieces of dough into an oblong or round shape and roll them in oatmeal if necessary.
Put a pot of water on the fire, bring the water to a boil.
Put dumplings into boiling water and as soon as they float, remove them from the water with a slotted spoon and put them on a plate.
Serve ready-made healthy lazy dumplings on the table with yogurt or your favorite berries.
