Tuna and celery salad spread

Celery is a vegetable that is loved or quite the opposite, the indifferent practically do not come across. I myself did not love him before, but now my attitude towards him has changed. And really, why not love him? Fresh, healthy, juicy, crunchy, low-calorie … in general, some advantages!
How to make a salad dressing with tuna and celery

Ingredients:

Tuna – 1 pack (standard jar)
Stem celery – 2 pcs. small
Raisins – 20 g
Walnuts – 15 g
Chicken egg – 1 pc.
Sour cream – 3 tablespoons
Mustard – 1 tsp French
Dill – 2 tbsp.
Salt – to taste
Black pepper – to taste or a mixture of peppers
Lemon juice – 1 tsp

Hard boil an egg. Next, pour it with cold water, hold for two minutes, and then select and clean.
Rinse the raisins and pour boiling water over them, let them stand a little, swell slightly.
I always take a standard can of tuna, in pieces, but not crushed, in its own juice, weighing 170 grams. Open the jar and drain the juice.
Lightly split the tuna with a fork.

Next is celery. 2 small stems. I weighed them and got a little over 70 grams. Rinse the stems thoroughly and cut off the lower rough part, about one and a half centimeters. Cut into small cubes.

Finely chop the nuts with a knife or use a blender. But with the latter, be careful – we need small pieces, not flour at all.
Drain water from raisins.
Add chopped celery, raisins, chopped nuts and dill to a plate with tuna. I have frozen dill.

Of course, you can add mayonnaise here without any problems and stir everything. But I very rarely use it – too heavy food, and it is completely undesirable for children, but they eat this spread salad perfectly.

I make this sauce as a substitute for mayonnaise. Divide the boiled egg into protein and yolk. Grind the yolk with a fork, add sour cream, mustard (French Dijon, it is more tender than ours), lemon juice and mix everything well. Protein can be eaten or rubbed into a salad.
Add dressing to salad and stir. Don’t forget to salt and pepper.

It is best served on a toasted loaf. I dry my bread in the toaster. A lettuce leaf will refresh everything and add vitamins. A big plus of this salad is that it has a characteristic crunch and freshness, but there is no onion that can spoil the smell from the mouth. And all thanks to celery – a great substitute for onions.
