Rum and Raisin Donuts

For the recipe you will need:
flour – 1/2kg
yeast (fresh) – 20g
egg – 2 pcs.
raisins – 80g
lemon – 1 pc.
sugar – 80g
butter – 20g
milk (warm) – 150-200 ml
rum – 50 ml
salt – 5g
vegetable oil – 500 ml
powdered sugar.
To make Rum and Raisin Donuts:

Mix raisins, 50 g sugar, salt, egg yolks, lemon zest, butter and 25 ml rum in a bowl.

In another bowl, mix yeast with 100 ml of milk and 2 tbsp. spoons of sugar, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place until the yeast starts to work. When the yeast foams, add the mixture with rum and raisins. Stir and add the sifted flour and the rest of the milk.

Knead soft dough and leave to rise for 40 minutes.

On a floured surface, form the dough into small balls. Fry donuts in hot vegetable oil until golden brown on all sides.

Transfer to paper towel to drain excess oil and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
