Ginger donuts

For the recipe you will need:
wheat flour – 4 cups
baking powder (baking powder) – 4 tsp
soda – 2 tsp
salt – 1.5 tsp
ginger (ground) – 1.5 tsp
sugar – 1.75 cup
ginger (candied) – 60g
buttermilk – 3/4 cup
egg – 2 pcs.
butter – 1/4 cup
sunflower oil (for frying).
To make Gingerbread Donuts:

Mix the sifted wheat flour with baking powder, soda, salt and 3/4 tsp. ground ginger. 1 st. Pour sugar and the remaining ground ginger into a small bowl, mix and set aside for a while.

Grind the remaining sugar and candied ginger in a blender, add buttermilk, melted butter, eggs. Stir and gradually, in small portions, add the flour mixture. You should get a dough that is slightly sticky to your hands. Roll the dough into a ball and leave for 1 hour.

Form small balls from the dough and fry several pieces in hot vegetable oil on all sides, do not forget to turn them over during frying.

Transfer the finished donuts to paper towels to remove excess fat, then sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and ground cinnamon.
