Yeast Dough Pies with Plums

For the recipe you will need:
flour – 500g
milk – 200 ml
yeast – 20g
sugar – 50g
butter – 50g
vanilla sugar – 1 sachet
egg – 1 pc.
plums – 15 pcs.
For filling:

sugar pieces
or marzipan mass (~ 100 gr.)
To prepare Pies from yeast dough with plums you need:

Mix flour in a bowl with a pinch of salt. Dissolve yeast in warm milk, add to flour. Mix well, add sugar, vanilla sugar, butter and egg. The dough is not very dense. Cover the bowl with a towel, leave for an hour in a warm place. The dough should rise noticeably.

If marzipan is chosen for the filling, then cut it into pieces according to the number of plums. Remove the pits from the plums, put a piece of marzipan or sugar in their place.

Knead the dough again, divide into portions according to the number of plums. Roll each piece of dough into a ball, press it into a cake, put a plum in the middle, wrap it with dough and form a ball again.

Arrange the pies on a deep baking sheet at some distance from each other (if you do not put parchment paper, then first grease the baking sheet with butter – 50 grams). Let the pies rest for another 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180C, bake the pies for about 30 minutes, until well browned. Allow to cool and only then separate the pies from each other.
