Plum dumplings

When I was a little girl, my mother often spoiled us with all sorts of sweets. She didn’t have much time, so she tried to cook something in haste. These were pancakes, dumplings with various fruit and berry fillings. At first the season was opened by strawberries, then there were cherries, currants, raspberries. Now I pass on my childhood experience to my children. Yesterday we brought a basket of fragrant plums from the dacha. I really wanted to treat my adult children with something homemade. I remembered the recipe for dumplings with plums. The dough is pre-prepared..

For this, I needed premium flour, salt, 1 egg and a cup of water (300-400 ml).

Mix the egg, salt and water well. Make a well in the flour and pour the mixture into it. Knead the dough, knead well. When the dough does not stick to your hands, put it in the refrigerator for about an hour.
At this time, you need to do the preparation of the plum filling. Plums should be tight. They need to be washed and put on a towel to dry.
Then the seeds must be removed from the plums.
When the filling is ready, we proceed to the preparation of dumplings. The dough must be rolled into a “sausage”, cut into pieces and rolled in flour
Next, you need to roll out the cakes. They should not be too thick or thin. In the middle of the cake, you need to put about 1 teaspoon of sugar and plums, how much will fit.
The edges of the dough should be well pinched, checking the integrity of the dumpling.
Boil them in salted water, stirring. When the dumplings float to the top, let them simmer for a while. Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and place on a large platter.

By the time my children arrived, the dumplings were ready. Everyone loved it! They are delicious both warm and cold.
