Mushroom tea – benefits and harms

Mushroom tea has been known since ancient times. It is used to quench thirst, treat certain diseases, relieve unpleasant symptoms and lose weight. The benefits and harms of mushroom tea depend on several important factors:
the type and properties of the fungus;
the state of human health;
the composition of the components used.
How to make mushroom tea?
The most common type of kombucha is Medusomyces gisevi. He came to us from China, where he was known before our era and was considered an elixir of health.
Kombucha is a symbiotic combination of yeast-like fungi and acetic acid bacteria. To make mushroom tea, you must first grow the mushroom by taking a few plates (baby) from an adult mushroom. For rapid and high-quality growth, and then proper maintenance and care, the mushroom must be constantly fed and regularly drained from the finished infusion.
In order to make mushroom tea, you must first prepare a rich sugar syrup, brew and cool the tea leaves, while remembering that sugar must be added in dissolved form. Sugar grains, if they get on the body of the fungus, can cause damage and even death.
The benefits of mushroom tea will increase if dried fruits and medicinal herbs are added to the infusion for feeding. Leaves of nettle, St. John’s wort, raspberry, strawberry, birch, linden blossom are suitable for adding to tea. It is not recommended to use chamomile, sage, currant and seasonings due to the presence of a large amount of essential oils in them, which can harm the fungus.

The main benefit of mushroom tea is its composition:
