But before we go deeper in particular, let’s highlight the general principles: the diet imposes severe restrictions on the range of foods that can be consumed: in fact, on different days of the diet, 1 – 2 products are allowed to be consumed – while the amount of one product is limited, and the second is not- no matter how many days any of the options for an actor’s diet lasts, the basis is the alternation of the so-called fasting, milk, protein, wine and fruit days – the range of allowed foods on this diet includes: boiled unpolished rice for a fasting day, low-fat dairy products (kefir, cottage cheese, yogurt) for a dairy day, boiled lean meat (chicken, turkey, veal, rabbit meat) for a protein day, low-fat hard cheese without spices for a wine day, and fresh juicy fruits (mainly apples and pears) for a fruit day – portions for each meal are also significantly reduced – restrictions are also imposed on the amount of liquid you drinkosti – from drinks on an actor’s diet, water, green tea, tomato juice, freshly squeezed orange juice and wine – salt, sugar and spices are strictly prohibited – the transition to a normal diet after this diet should be gradual. At first glance, everything is somehow sad and confusing, right? So what does this look like in practice? Variants and Menus of the Actor’s Diet The first variant of the actor’s diet is the 4 (or 5) day diet, or the short diet. It is presented as cleansing, and promises to save you from 2 – 3 kilograms of weight in a specified period. The first day of the diet is cleansing. Cleaning requires the whole day to eat unpolished rice cooked without salt and drink tomato juice. It is believed that there will be more benefits if you do not cook the rice a little, and the juice is freshly squeezed. At the same time, the amount of food consumed is also specified: either you eat 1 glass of boiled rice per day and drink it with an unlimited amount of juice, or vice versa, drink 1 glass of juice and eat as much rice as you want. Other foods and drinks (even water!) are prohibited. The second day is dairy. On this day, for your diet, you can choose any 2 fermented milk products from the list of allowed. The classic combination is kefir and cottage cheese. On the day you can eat up to 1 kilogram of cottage cheese and drink up to 1 liter of kefir. The third day is protein. There is only one type of meat boiled without salt and spices all day. And you can drink green tea from the heart. The fourth day is wine, or alcohol. All this day you have to eat hard cheese (the authors of the diet do not limit its quantity, but doctors advise eating no more than 200 grams per day) and red wine (up to 700 grams). Other food and water are prohibited. In the shortest version, the diet ends with a wine day, but in some variations it is extended for another, fifth day – fruit. On this day, you can take your soul away (and sober up after yesterday) by eating apples and pears in unlimited quantities. The second diet option is for 12 (or 14) days, or a long diet. The general principles of the diet are preserved, and it itself is a cyclical repetition of a short version. It turns out 3 blocks of 4 days each, and at the end – two wine days in a row. If you survive after a long acting diet, the plumb line will be up to 10 kilograms. The first block: the first day is rice with tomato juice, the second is milk, the third is protein (boiled fish is recommended), and the fourth is fruit ( eat grapes, preferably black). The second block: the first two days are the same, the third day – boiled shrimp, the fourth – watermelon. The third block: the first two days the same, the third – boiled veal, the fourth – apples. And in conclusion, 2 days in a row, red wine with cheese. That is, in practice, everything looks as harsh as in theory. What do nutritionists think about it? The opinion of doctors about the actor’s diet Many doctors do not recognize the actor’s diet as a diet at all, and they refuse to talk about its advantages and disadvantages, considering it an absolute evil. But if doctors understand everything at a glance, then we, ordinary people, want to know more. Although if you yourself have already met with various diet options, you can easily notice that an actor’s diet cannot be called balanced even with a big stretch. Even in its short version, it can contribute to the appearance of a deficiency of vitamins, minerals, fats. Mono-diets are generally considered by modern nutritionists as an unfavorable and even health-threatening way to lose weight, and the chain of mono-diets inflicts harm many times over. The same applies to limiting water consumption. Water is vital for us, and one of the principles of a healthy diet is sufficient fluid intake. In the same diet, liquid is prohibited, which can lead to dehydration, water and electrolyte imbalance and big troubles. In fact, weight loss occurs mainly due to fluid loss. The arrows of the scales show less, but you do not become healthier from this. Dehydration also affects the appearance – the skin becomes dry, loses its healthy color and tone, and it does not look particularly aesthetically pleasing. Make-up will help the actors, but who are you and me? Physical activity, one of the principles of a healthy lifestyle, is also hardly possible with such a diet. It will even be harmful. Firstly, she simply will not have the strength, and secondly, this will cause an even greater loss of fluid, which means it will bring the moment of seeking medical help for those reckless brave men who decide to try the diet for themselves. By the way, even those who survive such a test will not have to rejoice at the results achieved for a long time. Upon returning to the usual diet and drinking regimen, weight and volume will also return to their place. The need to drink alcohol during the diet is another inconsistency with the principles of modern dietology, and for some this option is simply not suitable. Still, 700 grams of wine a day with a piece of cheese is no joke. Yes, there is a stipulation that you need to use only homemade or purchased, but high-quality wine, but who will give you a guarantee that you will come across just such? Otherwise, you will have to face poisoning. Some experts advise replacing wine with orange juice, but this recommendation is not suitable, for example, for allergy sufferers, and it can irritate the gastric mucosa in completely healthy people. By and large, every point and principle of an actor’s diet runs counter to the principles of proper nutrition and modern ideas about a healthy lifestyle and proper weight loss. Of course, in articles with information about the diet, there is a warning that it is better not to use it for people suffering from diseases of the digestive and cardiovascular systems, kidneys, pregnant women, lactating women and adolescents. However, even if you are proud of your good health, do not rush to go on this diet. Otherwise, there may not be a reason for pride very quickly. And in general, one gets the impression that this diet is either a bad joke, or a malicious intent that has spread widely on the Internet. Know that there are many other, much healthier and gentler ways to lose weight, even if you want the result as quickly as possible.
