Tuna and corn sandwiches

What is the easiest thing to take with you to nature, a walk or a picnic? What can you eat when time is running out? What can I take as a gift for work or school? Of course, a sandwich. And with what filling – it’s up to you, but we offer to make sandwiches with tuna, sweet corn, herbs and cheese.

How to make tuna and corn sandwiches

Ingredients:

Tuna – 130 g in own juice
Bun – 1 pc. long bagel
Parsley – 2 tbsp.
Corn – 3 tablespoons canned
Mayonnaise – 1 tbsp.
Hard cheese – 60 g
Cooking:

one.
Drain excess liquid from canned tuna, transfer to a bowl and mash with a fork. Part of the liquid can be left so that the filling is not dry, and you do not have to add extra mayonnaise. If you want to exclude mayonnaise altogether, leave more liquid, but add boiled yolk, mashed with a fork.

2.
Drain the liquid from the corn and add it to the bowl with the tuna.

You can use frozen corn instead of canned corn. Pour it into a small saucepan, pour boiling water over it and boil for 3 minutes. Drain in a colander, rinse with cold water.

3.
Chop parsley and add to the filling together with mayonnaise.

four.
Cut off the sharp ends of the bagel, cut it lengthwise into 2 halves.

5.
Thoroughly mix the filling and grease the bottom of the bagel with it.

6.
Cut the cheese into thin slices, put it on top of the filling. It is more convenient to use cheese, which is sold already cut into slices.

Choose your cheese. Emmental, Gruyère, and any cheese that melts well will work well.

7.
Cover with the second half of the bagel and press well, but so that the filling does not come out on the sides.

Cut the sandwich in half.

eight.
Heat a grill pan or heavy bottomed pan. Fry sandwiches on low heat for 3-4 minutes on each side.

In summer, these sandwiches can be cooked on the grill. All the preparatory work can be done at home, on the street it remains only to fry them on the grill until the cheese is melted.

9.
Wrap sandwiches in parchment paper and tie with twine. It is much more convenient to eat these sandwiches: hot stuffing and cheese will not get your hands dirty.
