Curry with chicken liver and apple

Classic food combinations are always a win-win. One such combination is liver and apples. Today we will cook curry with chicken liver and apple – it’s not difficult and fast. This dish is perfect for lunch or dinner on a weekday.

How to make chicken liver and apple curry

Ingredients:

Chicken liver – 400 g
Onion – 1 pc.
Apple – 1 pc.
Garlic – 1 tooth.
Ginger – 1 tsp
Curry – 1 tsp
Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
Cooking:

Chilled rather than frozen chicken livers are best for chicken liver and apple curry. But if you still use a frozen product, then defrost it in advance. To do this, leave the liver overnight on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.

Pieces of chicken liver should be washed in cold water, put on a sieve, drained of excess liquid and cut into small pieces.

In a well-heated frying pan with the addition of vegetable oil, fry the pieces of chicken liver on all sides.

Peel and finely chop the onion, garlic and ginger.

Add chopped onion, garlic and ginger to the pan to the liver and fry the ingredients together for another 10 minutes.

Peel the apple, remove the core, tail. Cut the fruit into small cubes.

Add apple cubes to the liver in the pan. Salt a little to your taste and add spices (curry).

Gently mix the contents of the pan. Then cover with a lid and cook over low heat for another 10 minutes.

Curry with chicken liver and apple is ready.

Traditionally, curry is served with rice, but buckwheat, potatoes, and pasta will be a good side dish for it. And if you add more apples and onions during the cooking process, then you can completely do without a side dish. Enjoy your meal!
