Kvass okroshka with salted salmon
INGREDIENTS
kvass okroshny with horseradish – 1.2 – 1.5 l
medium bunch of dill
salted salmon – 160 g
medium potatoes – 4 pcs.
eggs – 4 pcs.
small sweet onion – 1 pc.
medium crispy cucumbers – 4-5 pcs.
salt
fat sour cream – 200 g
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Peel and chop the onion very finely. Boil potatoes in their skins, rinse with cold water, peel, cut into small cubes. Boil hard-boiled eggs, peel, cool, finely chop. Cucumbers, if desired, peeled, cut into small cubes.
Step 2
Cut the salmon in the same cubes. Remove the stems from the dill, chop the leaves as finely as possible. Mix all prepared ingredients in a saucepan.
Step 3
Stir sour cream with 1 glass of kvass until smooth, pour into a saucepan, mix. Add the remaining kvass to the desired density of okroshka. Salt if desired. Place in the refrigerator to infuse for at least 2 hours. Serve cold.
