Quish Lauren with leeks

Quiche lauren is an open French pie with a creamy filling. Leek was chosen as the filling. It is much more tender than the green onions we are used to, while adding a mild spicy flavor to any dish. INGREDIENTS:

For filling:

-leek – 1 stalk,
butter – 1/2 tbsp.
egg – 3 pcs.
milk – 70 ml,
a pinch of ground nutmeg
salt, pepper to taste.

for the test:

– wheat flour – 250 g.
butter – 2 tbsp. l.
egg – 1 pc,
salt – a pinch.

Cooking method:

1. For the dough, sift the flour into a large bowl. Add cold butter cut into cubes, chop it together with flour with a knife until it resembles bread crumbs. Beat the egg and knead a smooth dough, adding a little water if necessary (no more than half a glass). Roll the dough into a ball, wrap in cling film and put in the fridge for 30 minutes.

2. For the filling, cut the white part of the leek into rings and fry in butter and sugar for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Beat eggs with milk, add nutmeg and salt and pepper. 3. Lubricate a round baking dish with low sides with vegetable oil. Roll out the dough into a circle with a diameter of 4-5 cm more than the diameter of the form. We spread it in the form so that the bottom and sides are closed. We prick the dough with a fork, spread the onion, pour in the egg mixture and put in the oven preheated to 200 ° C for 15-20 minutes.
