Chicken baked in dough.

Cooking time: 10 min + 1 hour 45 min
Ingredients: For 4 servings:
whole prepared chicken weighing 1.2 – 1.8 kg
1 sprig rosemary
2 garlic cloves
1 kg flour
1 kg coarse sea salt
Instructions: Chicken cooked this way is very juicy and tender.

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Remove the packaging from the chicken and put the garlic and rosemary inside. Mix flour and salt in a bowl and add 6-8 tbsp cold water. Knead a stiff dough.

2. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a circle large enough to wrap around the whole chicken. Place the peppered chicken in the middle and wrap in the batter; pinch the edges.

3. Place in a baking dish and bake for 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. Before serving, remove the salty crust.

Serve with french fries.

On a note

In the prepared chicken carcass, you can put a bay leaf, a sprig of rosemary and three chicken livers.
