Sturdy Man Squats and Rise

Basic Instructions: Stand up straight, feet shoulder-width apart, body weight evenly distributed on both feet. With the first movement, sit down, at the same time clenching your hands into fists and bending your elbows (Fig. 2-3.4), and then rise. The Dan Tien Qi is conducted and concentrated in the fists and feet, the attention is focused first on the palms, and then, together with the movement of Qi, it moves through the Dan Tien and the legs to the feet. Breathing should be even, soft and coordinated with body movements. Repeat the exercise 9 to 18 times.
