The main thing in any business, and especially if you are starting it for the first time, is your attitude. Therefore, during the week, focus your attention on the upcoming event. Determine the date in advance and plan your affairs so that nothing can interfere with you on this day. At every meal, try to think about the upcoming event, and try to restrain your appetite, involuntarily growing from such thoughts. Every night before going to bed, focus your attention, set yourself up for this little feat. Try to convince all your loved ones of the necessity and usefulness of this step, at least from the standpoint of a healthy lifestyle. All this is necessary in order to create an energy component for the upcoming event, a kind of invisible frame of the future building. This will make it much easier for you to carry out your plans, taking advantage of the additional energy provided by other people and the energy that you yourself have concentrated while focusing on the future event.

On the day before fasting, be restrained in food, do not drink alcohol, do not eat a lot at night. The next day you will have to go without food, and this is a lot of extra free time. Therefore, if you are starving for the first time, try to find something to do. It is better if these are things in the fresh air, in the country, in the forest, but you can spend this day at home. Don’t have your first fast at work. Excessive attention to your person can only damage your business, plus possible problems in the form of various unpleasant sensations, such as headaches, dizziness, weakness, bad mood, bad breath, can ruin your relationships with others, and make fasting itself more difficult. In the future, you will be able to starve “on the job” and no one will even notice what you are doing. But for the first time, a day off is most suitable.

Try to drink more water, regular fresh water without any additives. But if you are already very attached to food and simply physically cannot survive this day, you can add a little honey to the water – a teaspoon per glass of water. Remember that the main thing in one-day fasting is a change in our understanding of the world, of ourselves, a change in thinking stereotypes, i.e. manipulation of one’s own mind. And only in the second place – a healing effect on the physical body, which, however, is a consequence of the first.

It is not bad to make a cleansing enema on the day of fasting. It is very good to practice cleansing breathing, perform asanas, just physical exercises, water procedures and other pleasant recreational activities. The main thing is not to overexert yourself. Finish fasting in the evening, take a shower and have dinner. Dinner should be light – salad and tea. The next day, the food is normal, but still try not to pass, although sometimes it can be extremely difficult to do, especially for beginners. If you feel light enough, then it is better to transfer the salad and tea to the morning breakfast. Thus, you will already have a 36-hour fast in your asset. If in the morning you are not particularly hungry, you can get hungry until the evening, i.e. 48 hours, or until the morning of the next day – two-day fasting. With sufficient experience and a suitable constitution, one can conduct “dry” one- or two-day fasts, i.e. do not use these days not only food, but also water. There are no big differences between such fasts, and all your mistakes in getting out of them are not particularly dangerous. Any person can without serious consequences can do without food and water for several days, and only our ignorance makes us die of fear in such a short time.

But do not expect from one-day fasts what they cannot give you, because the most significant changes in consciousness, energy and health occur during the development of long periods of fasting.
