Hair mask: egg and honey

Of the variety of therapeutic hair masks, masks made from components such as honey and egg are especially popular. The secret of the beneficial properties of natural honey and eggs was unraveled back in the days of our great-grandmothers. Therefore, since those very distant times, a hair mask made from eggs and honey, which is used to treat hair, has gained particular popularity in home cosmetics.

From a scientific point of view, the beneficial properties of such components are explained simply. Egg yolk is rich in vitamins A and vitamin B group – thiamine, riboflavin, biotin, and pyridoxine. In addition to the listed vitamins, the yolk contains a large number of trace elements – zinc, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iodine and other elements that our body needs daily. Natural bee honey has enzymes that promote rapid metabolism, as well as calcium, sodium, iodine, folic acid and vitamin H salts.
A hair mask containing yolk and honey adds shine to dull hair, promotes rapid hair growth and prevents baldness. You can prepare such a mask at home according to several recipes:

Hair mask: egg and honey #1
You will need: a couple of eggs, two tbsp. l. olive (castor) oil and one tbsp. l. bee honey.

Mix all ingredients and grind until smooth. Apply the resulting slurry from the roots of the hair, distributing along the entire length. Wrap your head in a towel and leave for one hour. After the time has elapsed, rinse with non-hot water using shampoo. This procedure should be performed once a week.

Hair mask: egg and honey #2
This mask promotes accelerated hair growth. You will need the following ingredients: honey and egg, burdock oil, aloe juice and ginger. One st. l. burdock oil mixed with egg, 1 tbsp. l. honey, aloe juice and a small pinch of ginger. The resulting mask is carefully rubbed into the hair roots and distributed over the remaining length. Wrap up in something warm and rest for an hour. Also use once a week.

Mask No. 3 for hair: honey, yolk, vitamin A, cognac or vodka
One chicken yolk is pounded with two tbsp. l. bee honey, three tbsp. l. vodka or cognac and 20 drops of vitamin A (purchased in a pharmacy in the form of drops). This mask should be kept on the hair for no more than thirty minutes.

Yolk and honey are the best storehouse of vitamins for your hair, which helps even with serious hair diseases, such as alopecia areata (partial baldness). To treat such a disease, a honey and egg hair mask should be used every 2 days for a month, and then as a prophylaxis every week (at least 1 time).
