Any distance over 3000m is considered long. Runners who run such distances are called stayers. There is also such a discipline as a daily run, when the athlete must run as far as possible in 24 hours. World leaders in such a run can run all the time without stopping and run more than 250 km.

In this type of running, the athlete has to overcome obstacles set around the stadium. Also one of the obstacles contains a pit with water. The main types of steeplechase are 2000 meters in the arena and 3000 meters in the open air.
In this type of running, European runners and female runners perform well.

Hurdling.
Not to be confused with the steeplechase. This discipline is a subsection of the sprint, only barriers are set at a distance. Unlike steeple chase obstacles, barriers are thin and fall easily.
There is a 50m hurdle race. 60m, 100m, 110m, 300m, 400m.
