How to increase testosterone without the help of steroids

Testosterone: This hormone has an impact on almost all processes in the male body, and especially on the growth of endurance strength and muscle mass. Testosterone is a natural anabolic and raising its level is one of the main tasks of any man, and especially a bodybuilder. What prevents testosterone production?

*Overweight.
A large percentage of fat in the male body gradually turns a man into a creature, let’s say, of the middle sex. The reason for this is the natural production by the body of a man of a small amount of female hormones – estrogens. Excess weight affects the endocrine system, causing it to suspend testosterone production and increase estrogen production. It is not uncommon to see a full man with an effeminate figure – this is all the effect of female hormones.

*Alcohol.
Drinking alcohol, as everyone knows, is very harmful to the human body, and even more so for the bodybuilder’s body, but other articles are devoted to this. Also, ethyl alcohol has the property of suppressing the synthesis of testosterone and, as a result, reducing its amount in the blood of a man.

*Psychological factors.
This is the most important and interesting point, and one can talk about it for a very long time. If we compare the testosterone level of a modern man with the testosterone level of, for example, a man from the Middle Ages, then the difference will probably be at least two times in favor of a medieval man. Why? In the Middle Ages, life was filled with wars, aggression and cruelty, and these factors are precisely the stimulators of testosterone production. This, of course, is not a call for cruelty or aggression, but still, a little more aggression and self-confidence would not hurt a modern man.

And if you take the statues of athletes from ancient Greece. All of them are the embodiment of modern bodybuilders who have made their huge muscles with the help of steroids. But after all, in those days, people had no idea about steroids, where did such ideas about a pumped up body come from then? The answer is simple – the high level of testosterone in the blood allowed the Greek athletes to make themselves such bodies without steroids.

So, the testosterone level of a modern man is much lower than the level of our ancestors. And all this is connected with the evolution of man, with the emergence of the so-called civilized society, where gradually, the animal nature of a person fades away, and with it the level of testosterone. We figured out that testosterone is everything for a man, and for bodybuilders it is also a natural anabolic responsible for muscle growth. The first and most important advice: be a man! Rigidity, aggressiveness, courage – these are the qualities by developing which you can increase your testosterone level.
Increase physical activity. In addition to the many beneficial factors that exercise has on the body, lifting weights also helps increase testosterone levels.
Spend more time in the sun. The sun’s rays play a very important role for the human body and have a positive effect on the amount of male hormone.
Add more sex to your life. Remember, abstinence does not increase testosterone, but rather leads to atrophy of the organs that produce it.
Eat foods that increase testosterone levels. These include seafood, meat, beans, honey, chicken eggs, nuts, and fruits.
