Ayurvedic detox tea.

After plentiful feasts, it is very important to quickly normalize digestion and put yourself in order. The oldest nutritional system – Ayurveda – has several wonderful recipes for this case, the simplest of which is a cleansing tea based on spices. Ginger, turmeric, fennel, lemon and other spices “restart” the metabolism and restore the disturbed balance. Ayurvedic detox tea is absolutely safe and can be drunk for several months. In winter, it will help to cope with heavy food, and in the spring it will facilitate the transition to fresh vegetables and fruits, invigorate and help you lose weight.

You will need:

1 liter of water
1-2 tbsp thinly sliced ​​ginger root
1 tbsp thinly sliced ​​turmeric root or 1 tsp. ground,
1-2 tsp coriander,
1-2 tsp zira,
1-2 tsp fennel seeds,
1-2 tsp green or black tea, mate or mint,
1 lemon wedge

How to cook: 1. Place the tea and all the spices in a teapot or French press, pour half a liter of boiling water. Leave to infuse for 5 minutes, pour into cups through a sieve and drink immediately.

2. Fill the teapot with boiling water again, leave to steep a little longer, pour into a cup and drink throughout the day. You can repeat the brewing a few more times if desired.

For best results, drink 2 liters of detox tea per day.
