Delger (Mong. Delger) is a sum of the Govi-Altai aimag in the southwestern part of Mongolia, with an area of ​​6,625 km². The population according to 2009 data was 3,104 people.
The center of the somon is the village of Taigan, located 88 kilometers from the administrative center of the aimag, the city of Altai, and 900 kilometers from the capital of the country, Ulaanbaatar.

Somon is located in the southwestern part of Mongolia on the border with Bayankhongor and Zavkhan aimags. Mount Serkh is located on the territory of Delger, the Zavkhan River flows.

The climate is sharply continental. The average temperature in January is -21 degrees, in July +14 degrees. The annual rainfall is 140 mm.
