The process of disintegration in the muscles, cells and other organs can be somewhat delayed by keeping the body at rest, but the activity and distribution of excess substances will still continue in the internal organs. If you breathe quickly, your heart will beat faster. When you run, you breathe heavily, and therefore cardiac activity accelerates.
