A diary. Keep a daily diary of 200-300 pages a month where you record your progress and any failures if you intend to achieve quick success. Strict Sadhana is needed to change one's nature. I also recommend to note in the notes column: 1) The name of the Asana; 2) Type of meditation; 3) Kriyas performed by you; 4) Your diet; 5) Do you make Japa Biju? 6) How do you keep your room? 7) What book do you read with understanding?
Do not be ashamed to celebrate your mistakes, failures and blunders. They - poked for your own progress. Don't waste your time. Send copies of your diary to your Teacher. He will give you further lessons and help you remove obstacles in your Sadhana.
