Al-Jahra (Arabic: الجهراء‎) is a province (governorate) in Kuwait.

The administrative center is Jahra (El Jahra).
Area – 12,130 km², population – 454,836 people (2010).

Geography
Located in the northwest of the country, the largest governorate in Kuwait. Contains most of Kuwait’s arable land.
In the southeast, it borders with the provinces of Al Asim, Al-Ahmadi and Al-Farwaniya, in the south with Saudi Arabia, in the west and north with Iraq. In the east it is washed by the waters of the Persian Gulf. The province includes Bubiyan Island.
