The procedure for issuing a visa and the terms of production in Russia
The condition for entry to Norfolk, regardless of the purpose of the trip (tourism or work), is the presence of a multiple-entry Australian visitor visa.
For recreation and tourism, you must have a passport valid for at least 6 months, and a multiple-entry Australian visitor visa, since Norfolk is entered through Australia. When entering through New Zealand, a multiple-entry New Zealand visa will be required.

To apply for a visa, you must submit to the embassy a passport (required with the signature of the owner and at least one completely blank page), a completed Russian or English form 48R Russian the applicant must personally owe it – a forged signature may cause a refusal of a visa), 2 photographs 3×4 or 4×6 cm in size, an invitation – tourist, private or official, a certificate from the place of work (indicating the position, length of service, total monthly income and the legality of the provided holidays), medical insurance for the entire period of stay on the island, proof of creditworthiness (statements from accounts or documents on the applicant’s property), as well as a declaration for the export of currency.

Children under 16 fit into the visa of the parents (mother). To obtain a visa for a child under 18 years of age or to include him in a visa to one of the parents, a copy of his birth certificate and a notarized consent to the removal of the child from the remaining parent / parents are required. If the child is traveling unaccompanied, it is necessary to provide a notarized power of attorney from both parents for independent child crossing the border.

If one of the parents died, was deprived of parental rights, went missing, or his whereabouts are unknown and communication with the family is not maintained, it is necessary to provide the relevant documents: a death certificate (notarized copy) or a certificate from the police, or a single mother’s book.

The usual time for processing documents at the embassy is up to 3 weeks. The cost of issuing a tourist visa is $72 (including the consular fee). Visa-free transit is not allowed. The New Zealand Visitor’s visa for citizens of the Russian Federation is free of charge.
