Dairy products, eggs, products containing eggs. Including whole foods, dried and powdered eggs and products containing eggs as an ingredient (baby food products, as well as dairy products from New Zealand can be imported).
Live animals. Including birds, bird eggs, fish, reptiles and insects.
Meat and meat products. Including non-canned food, i.e. raw, dry, cured, frozen, salted meat products.
Seeds, grains, nuts. Includes all unroasted nuts, raw groundnuts (peanuts), chestnuts and popcorn kernels.
Fresh fruits and vegetables. Including all raw and frozen fruits and vegetables.
Living plants. Including shoots, roots, bulbs, cobs, cereals, rhizomes, seedlings, stems.
Handicrafts and souvenirs containing seeds.
Salmon and trout products – ask about special import conditions (salmon in factory cans is allowed).
Biological materials – including human or animal vaccines, therapeutic devices (ask for special import conditions).
Deer antlers and skins, edible bird nests (including in packaging) – deer antlers from New Zealand are allowed to be imported (if there is a certificate).
Soil and sand – including objects filled with earth or sand (stones cleared of soil are allowed for import).
Pork in any form.
