Insurance

General information about travel insurance to England Health insurance will not only cover quality treatment in a paid clinic, but also help to avoid additional costs in the event of an unforeseen situation (if the corresponding risk is included in the insurance). For example, the risks that tourists in England are exposed to are typical for most European countries: a high probability of getting into an accident on busy roads or due to unusual left-hand traffic, poisoning, material damage caused to third parties, etc. It is recommended to make insurance no later than 5 days before departure.
Do I need insurance to travel to England?
Travel insurance is issued for a trip to England without fail – this is an indispensable condition for entry. Upon arrival in the country, you will be asked about its availability during customs control.
The policy must meet the following requirements:
be available at the time of submission of documents for obtaining a visa and at the time of crossing the border;
must be provided in printed form;
operate in England;
be issued without a franchise.
Insurance for sports and outdoor activities
Active recreation in England among tourists is most often limited to walking and cycling, skateboarding and rollerblading, boat trips, as well as visiting the gym for games in:
golf, mini-golf; football; volleyball; basketball.
Since the majority of injuries among tourists occur during sports, it is very important that all possible risks are taken into account when calculating the cost of insurance. Otherwise, the insurance company will not pay for the treatment of an injury sustained while playing sports.
