Weather in the Czech Republic all year round

The climate in this Eastern European country is very mild and suitable for recreation all year round, but there are also small nuances. In January-February, the daytime temperature in the Czech Republic ranges from 0 to -4 °C, but there are also frosts – up to -10 °C. Winter weather in the Czech Republic is snowless, it rains, and green grass is always visible on the lawns.

By mid-March, the first leaves appear – spring is steadily moving towards summer. Already in April, the weather in the Czech Republic is quite summery: almost all the trees are covered with greenery, the sky is most often clear.

Summer weather in the Czech Republic is moderately hot, averaging around 20°C, although there are some really hot days with temperatures up to 30°C.

In September, the weather in the Czech Republic changes: sometimes warm and clear, sometimes cool and rainy. By October, the temperature drops to 10-15 ° C, and the weather remains changeable: frost even appears during frosts. At the same time, thick fog envelops the Czech Republic, and Czech cities become like fabulous ones. In November, snow begins to fall, but showers are more frequent. However, even at this time the weather in the Czech Republic is clear.

Czech December is more like the end of Russian October: grass remains on the lawns, and right there – New Year trees. In December, there are frosts with snowfalls (the snow, however, immediately melts), and rains, and thaws, when the temperature rises to 10 ° C.

Temperature in the Czech Republic all year round

The Czech climate is very mild: warm winters, pleasant summers. The temperature in the Czech Republic, however, strongly depends on the landscape: in the mountains it is always an order of magnitude colder. In the warmest summer month – July – the temperature on the flat terrain fluctuates around 20 ° C, and in the mountains – only from 4 to 8 ° C. Thanks to this temperature, even in the hot season, the Czech Republic remains one of the most popular countries among skiers. In winter, the air temperature in the Czech Republic rarely drops below -4 °C, only occasionally frosts down to -10 °C occur. In the mountains, the temperature is set to -8 °C.

Autumn and spring temperatures in the Czech Republic are unstable. There is practically no spring and autumn: winter smoothly flows into summer. The average demi-seasonal temperature in the Czech Republic is 10-15 ° C, it is set in late February-early March and in October-November. The average temperature in the Czech Republic always remains positive! Precipitation falls mainly as rain, even in winter. Snow, if it falls, melts immediately. Even on New Year’s Eve, the grass remains green in the flowerbeds, and already in March trees are covered with leaves.
