Visa-free transit through the territory of the Czech Republic to third countries outside the Schengen area is prohibited, unless the transfer to the next flight is carried out within the next 24 hours, and it is not planned to leave the territory of the airport’s transit zone.

Important! Visa-free transit is allowed only in cases where, when flying between non-Schengen countries, only one Schengen airport is used as a transit airport. If you plan to transfer at two or more Schengen airports (for example, New York – Zurich, Zurich – Prague, Prague – Moscow), a transit visa must be issued in advance.
Visa-free transit is prohibited in cases where the passenger has a ticket with an open date, or when transferring to a connecting flight, it is required to receive and re-register baggage.
