An invitation from a legal entity registered in accordance with the Law on Legal Entities and Non-Economic Activities to obtain a short-term visa for the purpose of staying for business negotiations or business relations. It is drawn up according to the form, signed and sealed with the seal of the inviting party. Also, the document must be notarized and signed in the service of control over the activities of foreigners.

You need to provide the following documents:
1.Certificate on the state of the legal entity (issued by the district court for up to 3 months)
2. A copy of the certificate of registration at the Directorate of the Agency for profit, depending on the territorial location of the legal entity
An invitation-declaration issued by the government of a foreign legal entity registered under Article 24 of the Investment Promotion Law for the issuance of a short stay visa for the purpose of carrying out business transactions. Signed and sealed by the issuing person, certified by a notary and in the service of control over the activities of foreign citizens. The following documents are provided:
1.Certificate on the current state of the government, issued by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bulgaria (validity of the certificate is 3 months)
2.Certificate or a copy of registration with the Directorate of the National Agency that controls profits.

Purpose of the trip:
Private trip. Documents that must be submitted for obtaining a visa: an invitation for a private visit by a foreign person to the Republic of Bulgaria.

Business business trip. Documents that must be submitted to obtain a visa: invitation-declaration for a business trip to the Republic of Bulgaria.

Culture Exchange. Documents that must be submitted for obtaining a visa: a letter and invitation from the Ministry of Culture or a letter from the mayor, in compliance with the territory

Sport. Documents that must be submitted for obtaining a visa: a letter from the Ministry of Sports or an invitation from the relevant club

Treatment. Documents that must be provided for obtaining a visa: a certificate from a medical institution, which will indicate the treatment plan and recovery program, an epicrisis from the hospital.

Tourism. Unorganized - individual.

Documents that must be provided for obtaining a visa: hotel reservation in Bulgaria, round-trip plane ticket reservation, or money for the trip. Upon receipt of a visa, printed tickets should be shown.

Organized - individual.

Documents that must be provided for obtaining a visa: a travel voucher from a travel company, a list of a group of tourists.

Only accredited travel companies (for organized tourism) can apply for a Bulgarian visa.
4. Visa for long stay (or national visa) (visa type "D")

A long-term visa with a total validity of up to six months, giving the right to stay in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria to a foreign person for no more than 180 days, may be issued to a foreigner who wishes to temporarily or permanently settle in Bulgaria on the basis described in one of the paragraphs of Articles 24, 24a, 25, 33a and 33d of the current Law on Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria.

A long-term residence permit valid for 6 months and giving the right to stay on the territory of Bulgaria for a period not exceeding 180 days is issued if:
1. A foreign person conducts scientific work or research
2. A foreign person is a student participating in a study program for up to 1 year
3. A foreign person undergoes an internship
4. A foreign person is sent on a business trip by a foreign employer to conclude certain transactions related to tourism services
5. A foreign person is sent on a business trip by a foreign employer operating as an investor in accordance with the Investment Promotion Law to monitor the implementation of an invested project

A long-term visa gives a foreign person the right to repeatedly enter the territory of Bulgaria before its expiration date.

In order to to obtain a visa for a long-term stay on the territory of the Republic, you need to submit the following documents:
1. Application for extradition, filled in in accordance with the rules - 2 copies.
2. A valid foreign passport, or any other document that replaces it.
3.Copies of the pages of the foreign passport, which contain personal data and valid visas. You also need to provide a residence permit and a copy of it - 2 copies.
4. A color photograph as in a foreign passport - a new one - 2 copies.
5. Documents justifying the right to obtain a long-term visa, in accordance with the Law on Foreigners of the Republic of Bulgaria, and their copies, as well as financial resources necessary for accommodation and maintenance - 50 euros for each day indicated in the application, but not less than 500 in total euro, or the same amount in any other convertible currency.
Foreign persons exempted from the obligation to submit documents confirming the availability of funds for accommodation and maintenance, as well as documents confirming hotel and air ticket reservations, as well as exempted from the obligation to present a medical insurance policy.

The following persons are released from the above obligations, namely from the presentation of documents on funds for accommodation and maintenance, as well as documents regarding air travel (except for insurance), the following persons:
1. Members of the family or households of citizens of countries belonging to the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Confederation of Switzerland.
2. Foreign persons applying for a visa for a long-term (6 months or more) stay for the purpose of family reunification, as well as for seeking asylum in the Republic of Bulgaria, persons with refugee status - on the basis of documents provided by the agency under the Council of Ministers.
3.Persons holding official or diplomatic passports.
Persons exempted from the obligation to present a valid health insurance policy:
1. Members of the family or households of citizens of countries belonging to the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Confederation of Switzerland.
2.Persons holding official or diplomatic passports.
3. Seafarers who meet the criteria of Convention No. 108 from the international labor organization, when applying for the issuance of transit visas
4. Foreign persons who, due to their social or social status, may not present documents, explaining the release from this obligation by the absence of doubts about non-covering of any expenses.
