Er Rayyan (Arabic: الريان‎) is a city located in the municipality of the same name in Qatar. It is the second largest city in Qatar after the capital, Doha. According to the 2010 census, the city has a population of 392,428.

Sport
The city has its own football team called Ar Rayyan.
The Ahmed bin Ali city stadium hosted some matches of the 2011 Asian Football Cup, which took place from January 7 to 29.

There is also the Ar Rayyan volleyball team, which finished 2nd at the Club World Championship in 2014, and a basketball team.
