Yangang-do

Yanggando (Korean: 량강도, 兩江道, also Ryanggan, Ryangando) is a province in the DPRK with the administrative center in the city of Hyesan. It was formed in 1954 by separation from the province of Hamgyongnam-do.
In the north it borders with China, in the east – with the province of Hamgyongbuk-do, in the south – with Hamgyongnam-do, in the west – with Chagangdo.

Yangangdo is divided into 1 city (si) and 11 counties (gun).
