The state of Salzburg in Austria is an excellent choice for a family holiday.

The ski resorts of the region provide all the conditions for young guests: ski schools, slopes and ski lifts for children, mini-clubs and kindergartens. And, of course, there are many interesting places for family excursions and entertainment.

In Hellbrunn Castle there is an 18th-century mechanical puppet theater depicting everyday medieval scenes and set in motion by the power of water, and in the amazing Mirabell Park there is a “garden of gnomes” with bizarre sculptures, pretty fountains and a green theater with hedges backstage.

The wonderful zoo in Anif is home to more than 800 animals from all over the world, while the Salzburg Nature House with an aquarium, terrarium and planetarium showcases natural wonders from around the world.

In Salzburg, it is also interesting to visit the Wax Museum, the Toy Museum, the Puppet Theatre, the House where Mozart was born, and the Fürst confectionery, where the famous Mozartkugel sweets were invented.
