Pistes and lifts

International ski resort, occupying a vast area between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. The name of the resort is translated as “Gate of the Sun”. The region unites 12 resorts in France and Switzerland: Avoria (1800-2466 m), Morzine (1000-2466 m), Les Gets (1172-2002 m), Chatel (1200-2100 m) (France), Le Crozette, Шампери, Можен, Торгон, Валь д’Иллез (Швейцария). A common ski-pass operates throughout the territory.

Most of the trails in the area are interconnected by lifts into a single network. The maximum height is 2466 m. The highest slopes in the Avoria region.

The most interesting steep black runs are found in the Avoria area: these are the slopes under Au Fort towards Le Prodain. The rocky ridge “Swiss Wall” is another place for an adrenaline rush. It separates the French and Swiss parts of the Portes du Soleil, the descents from it take place on the sidelines along the steep slopes.

The largest number of slopes for intermediate skiers is in the areas of Avori, Les Gets, Morzine.

For cross-country skiers, 45 km of prepared pistes between Avoria and Morzine.

There are slopes for all categories of skiers, from beginners to experts and off-piste skiers.
